1Click2Fame is an online talent contest that is becoming increasingly popular in the UK. The site works like an online version of Britain’s got talent or X factor, however 100% of the voting is done by the voting public online, and money rather than a recording contract is the appeal. The first winner of 1Click2fame, 16 year old Lucie Evans, won £100,000 and is now recording her first album out in L.A. Currently the first of four quarter finals is taking place, with 11 quarter finalist training at Boot Camp last weekend to record their final performance which will be judged by online fans and followers. The winner of this first quarter finals will win £25,000 and progress through to the end of year finals along with 2 other performers. New competitors can enter the competition at any point, but with 1000’s of competitors already competing you better make sure you have got talent by the bucket load if you want to succeed. Talented break dancers, beat boxers, singer/songwriters, and comedians all compete alongside each other on 1Click2Fame giving the performances good variety and making the site fun to navigate through. There are some funny performances as well as some genuinely impressive acts. The competition isn’t limited to any type of performance, so if you have a skill or talent that makes for good viewing I suggest you cash it in!
